The Vermont Agency of Transportation would like to notify you of a paving project occurring in Downtown Bennington this summer along US Routes 7 and 9.
Work is scheduled to begin the week of July 16th and end in mid-October. During this time you will have access to all Downtown businesses, including the Lightning Jar, though some parking spaces will be temporarily unavailable. Paving will happen in segments. If you'd like to stay up to date on this project and others in our region, please go to the Facebook page "VTrans Rutland Region Construction Contracts." VTrans will periodically post updates and pictures there. If you have questions or concerns, you can contact Natalie Boyle, Outreach Coordinator, at (802) 855-3893 or nboyle@eivtech.com.
During the construction, you are welcome to park in either the front lot of our complex or in the municipal lot on Depot Street next to Bennington Station.
