Lightning Jar members are always able to use our main room for working or meetings, and our conference room. Remember that our conference room must be scheduled on the calendar and can only be reserved for 2 hours at a time.
Members may also use the VSECU / Lightning Jar shared kitchenette for eating meals or taking a break. You may also store items in the refrigerator in the kitchenette if you like. We recommend that you write your name on your items.
VSECU has a "Privacy Room" just inside the entry door, which is not available for Lightning Jar members use. VSECU uses this space for multiple purposes throughout the week, and the schedule is never known to us.
If you find yourself in need of a private space and our conference room is booked, please inquire with Laurie Gormley (VSECU Branch Manager) if the Privacy Room or the Community Room is available for your use. If Laurie is not available, check with any VSECU branch employee to see if there is a free room - they all have access to the branch meeting room calendar.
Using the Privacy Room without obtaining permission from VSECU will be considered a violation of your Membership Agreement. VSECU is our landlord and has been extremely understanding as our membership grows and we want to make sure that we maintain an excellent relationship between all members and VSECU.
